I have a lot of vintage material (fabric) & don’t know how to sell it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
The people who’ll be most interested in this kind of fabric are people who restore old quilts – they often need to maintain a large inventory of vintage fabrics for repair projects. Many quilters who make projects from scratch LOVE this stuff, too. One good source of info is to contact an AQS-certified quilt appraiser near you for advice – you’ll probably pay for the advice but it could save you a bunch of money. I once heard an appraiser mention that she had been offered $1000 for some 1700s-era fabric she had, so it pays to be careful.
